Peter & Nid, visa to UK.

We were 'conned' into believing a local owned and run ..so-called immigration firm had inside connections at the British embassy Bangkok and could guarantee us a visa. The refusal document from the embassy spoke of 'appalling document preparation and false/phony documentation'. The embassy asked my fiance 'who had prepared the application'? and she told them the story about the local firm, they made notes and advised her to try again using a genuine immigration lawyer, we did and now live happily in Bristol UK.

Alan & Gung Visa to UK.

'Lies upon lies' is all we got for our 1,000 pounds paid to a local run visa company. They got everything wrong and we never got a penny back. A British immigration law firm in Pattaya got us the visa swiftly and with no fuss.

Trevor & Kay visa to Australia.

Don't ask me how it came about but a friend of my Thai girlfriend suggested we talk to a certain 'local' visa consultancy firm , regarding making a settlement visa to Australia. This was run by a Thai man who did a lot of talking and seemed clued -up on Australian visa matters. Oh - was I wrong. I paid him 2,500$AU and after 7 months of shear agony gave up on the mission. We were so frustrated at the endless amount of lies and deceit by this company we were beginning to ask ourselves 'Is it worth the hassle'?. Just when things were about as bad as they could be, we met an Australian man and his wife and got chatting. I told him of our experiences, he smiled and told me our first mistake was to trust a local visa consultancy company with our application. He gave me the number of the British lawyer in Thailand who had obtained the visa for his wife. We called him. Immediately got good feelings and had no hesitation in hiring him. We got the visa within the time scale promised. No fuss…no hassle. Straight forward and uncomplicated. Very professional.

Shaun & Phan Visa to UK

We really should have know better than to believe the touts outside the British Embassy, jumping on anyone with a folder in their hands. Very…very convincing with fantastic, plausible stories. All full on lies of course. Final result: Visa refusal. We found a British law firm who obtained the visa for us exactly as they promised us. We now reside in London and are very happy and grateful to the friendly staff at EASY VISA.

Dennis and Su, Visa to UK.

Local visa companies run by local people are useless, haven't got a clue as to what they're doing. Our initial application prepared by a local operation failed miserably. It was our own fault, I mean, How would a local person fully understand what P60 is, or annual tax returns are, or what a British land registry document was or what it is for!!. I must take some blame though, for allowing them to convince me. Found a solid British visa company in Pattaya and we were issued with the visa we wanted in record time.

(Please read this it will save you time and money).

I am furious that I allowed myself to be deceived by this sweet talking Thai man who purported to be a visa / immigration expert. He approached us outside the British embassy as we were about to submit our application. He asked to check our documents for free, we saw no harm and allowed him. Immediately he was ooooing and ahrrring at what he described as mistakes that would certainly result in a failed application. He talked me into going to his office where he would prepare everything for us. I paid him 650 pounds and he told us to come back in three days. My girlfriend signed the application form and he told me he would submit it for us, he was very reticent about me viewing the application contents. My girlfriend attended an interview at the embassy.

The refusal document was the most embarrassing document I've ever read. I quote' 'You are applying for a 6 month visitors visa to the United kingdom. You have at the same time enclosed a document that was clearly an offer of work on your entry into the UK. This alone contravenes the British immigration rules as you have no permit to work!. We are at a loss as to who prepared this application as it can only be described as an abhorrent mess,. The illegal job offer was in Kent and your boyfriend named above, who you were going to be staying with lives in Blackpool, north west England!!, your application has indeed left us here scratching our head in wonder. Visa refused.'. End of quote. We never gave the company any documents to say my girlfriend would be working as I knew she couldn't. The local 'fools' decided themselves it would be an good idea…WRONG!!

We eventually found a British immigration lawyer in Pattaya who got us the visa in 4 weeks. Very professional and always and transparent.

Michael & Wan, Visa to Ireland

My fiance was promised the earth by a local visa company, we paid them 60,000 baht, waited over 3 months and got nothing except a runaround and packs of lies. A genuine British (Thai based) law firm helped us in the end. They offered me a contract and were very professional. Many thanks to them.

Wayne & Tam Visa to UK.

I keep on asking myself as to why we believed them in the first place. I mean the whole story they fed me was simply to good to be true. Conned I was., and lost 900 pounds but more importantly was the time that my now wife and I lost not being together. One year of wasted time and sadness. To anyone who reads this please find a British immigration expert in Thailand. Never under any circumstances trust or believe the local operated companies, if you do will be robbed of you hard earned money as I was.

Craig & Jen Visa U.S.A

Somehow I got conned into allowing a visa company operated by the locals arrange my K1 fiance visa to the U.S. We paid them 4,000 dollars and waited…and waited. Two months passed and I called the office and they always seemed helpful and blamed the U.S immigration procedure for the delays. I contacted the USCIS in Texas where the initial form were to be filed. I was told that no application had been received in the name of my fiance nor myself. Furious, I contacted the firm where I was told 'honestly I do believe' by an office junior, that the Thai staff there had no idea how to proceed with U.S.A applications!! And that they had just simply stole my money!. Eventually I asked for my money back and was told that I ever showed up again in Thailand I would be killed!. That kinda ..put me off for a while . Anyway I wrote the 4k off and found a British law firm in Pattaya who were also U.S registered migration agents. 100% first class and many thanks to them as my wife and I are happily settled in the U.S. My advice; Beware, stay well away from local visa companies or be it on your own head.

Victor and Mem. Visa to U.K

We were handed a brochure on the beach road Pattaya, it was advertising a local immigration consultancy who made visas to the UK. We called to little office to see them, they were many Thai people, of which one was the boss, and one British person. Not knowing anything about the process they sounded somewhat convincing. We paid 700 pounds and were given a receipt. I thought it was strange we had no official contract. I returned to the UK and forwarded the requested documents.

Then Nothing!. 2 months and still nothing. They kept us waiting and waiting. I made constant calls to them and the secretary who answered 'sometimes', always had a feeble excuse as to why the Thai bosses were not available. Eventually after 3 months of waiting and no action I decided to pay them a surprise visit. I entered the office to be told by the same people who I had dealt with previously that 'the old company who I was contracted to, had gone out of business, and this was now a new company. I asked about my application to be told 'that was with the old company and your documents and application has been thrown out'. I said to them…"but it was you three people who took my money off me", ' I was disgusted but more so utterly shocked. I asked for my money back only to be threatened and thrown out to the sounds of laughter. We were in absolute despair, my fiance was crying uncontrollably. I could only use words to console her.

Back in our hotel I saw an advert on the local T.V for British immigration lawyer who is an expert in preparing visa applications. I saw no harm in calling him. After five minutes of me talking to him I knew he was the one to help us. I asked him question after question and he had all the answers and solid advice. I called at his office the next day, his staff made us very welcome and were always obliging. We saw photographic evidence of his 20 years experience and success and made a contract with his excellent company. 3 weeks later my fiance had her visa. Totally professional and have our eternal gratitude. My advice: Stay away from the, so called 'local run' visa consultancy companies.
